2012 was a great year, personally and socially. I was having a little change in my personal life and the last three months were pretty tiring. The best part is this year I found a great friend who supported me a whole lot. There were some hurdles and chaos and many.. many changes. I changed internally- confident, sensible and more sarcastic and I cried a lot LESS this year. I cry A LOT not in front of people but under my blanket. I found that blogging was not a joke. I honed my photography skills, about which I am extremely happy. And the best part I found my aim, my profession that is, for the future, this year. I came to know my inner self, my flaws and my pros. I realized that I was always attracted to color and presentation. I love it when I was served with very nice looking food. I extracted the meaning of the quote: "Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder". Well I'll write another post regarding this topic soon. I WILL BECOME A GRAPHIC DESIGNER AND I AM PRETTY DETERMINED TO SEE MYSELF AS ONE SOME DAY... Bye 2012. Lastly, thanks to all my friend (online one's too), family friend and The Almighty for making this year so special. Thanks a lot. (Like a whole lot).
Congratulations to all! The world didn't end yet. It's nice to see you all online- safe and sound. After being gone away by the wind hah, I am back! Um.. actually I was having exams- the big ones so that's why I had to stay away from my blog but now I AM BACK! And there are a lot of post coming soon. This time it'll be all about interior designing as I am designing my new room which looks like a den right now. Meanwhile, enjoy some photos!

Life has been very hectic lately, huh! I've been studying real hard because I'm having exams right now. I don't want to quit though, blogging is my passion, apparently. Soon enough I'm going to post some fashion posts and also a couple organisation ones. It's been awesome here, the place where i live, people LOVE rain. The westerly winds and rains are coming along! I can't wait to sit in my cozy quilt with a cup of hot chocolate. Ah I can't wait!
De-clutter: De-cluttering is an important step. You don't want to have everything oozing out of place so keep very basic things on your dresser.
Changing the mood: Hats off to my mother she always adds color to our place. It really depends on my mood what I like to keep on my dresser. Sometimes it's like the oh-so-girly vibe everywhere however I like having a nice sober vibe is much suitable.
The feminine feel: You're a lady, a girl or a woman, it doesn't matter. Always give your place a feminine feel. Keep it nice and feminine.
Handy stuff: Keep things you frequently use. Like your fall favorite lipstick that you tend to use frequently. or some bobby pins.
Plus, do keep a magnified mirror on your dresser. Work with precision and observe the over all look with the dresser mirror.

Apologies for not posting up for a while. I've been really lazy through the past weeks, I fell down on the on our marble floor while doing a baby karate session with my sister, my foot just stuck in my clothes and I fell real bad, like really bad. While I was recovering my bruises, I got a temperature which highly restricted me from blogging. I spent all this time reading stories on WattPad and was completely dazed after reading so awesome stories, people seriously have a lot of talent.

I've got to make this clarification so that you people are aware of everything. Most of the people who don't me personally "always" have a misunderstanding that my name is Seema. No offense but I am not really fond of this name because I abosolutely adore my real name (sorry if that sounds cliche).
MY NAME IS SEEMAL
Hoping that I've clarified everything, I'll move onto the socialization part. Almost everyone is online these days. If you would like talking to me anywhere else than my blog, you surely can because I have almost all types of social media accounts. I have facebook, twitter, instagram, bloglovin, pinterest, kik and blogger account, also I have an email address (pretty obvious). I have written all this stuff jyst to ensure that you people know. I've added all kinds of social media and contact buttonson my blog so do check them. Also if you have any question comments and queries, be sure to send them to thebrunettehead{at}gmail{dot}com. I answer e-mails quite frequently.
Still some vague thoughts? Just drop me an email!

I hardly talk about eastern clothing on my blog. I too wear eastern clothing most of the time and I to because it's much comfortable and much prettier I believe. It was lovely outside today and I got out with my sister and had a little walk and picked some fresh jasmines.

I believe inspiration is everywhere but you should have that great sense of observing things so to make things a wee bit easy for you guys I decided to pile up a few websites that I totally am in love with when it comes to collecting some freshly picked inspiration.
Pinterest: First up is Pinterest and honestly I find it the best inspiration spot. Of course I don't cheat other bloggers' ideas but it acts like outline for me to determine what's in trend, what's happening out there in the blogging world, it gives me an idea to come-up with something that people are already interested in. Especially the boards are great, I find them awesome for organizing my inspirations. I can make as many borad as I want and I can easily classify things into categories.
Etsy: Etsy is second on my list, well actually I love Etsy and Pinterest equally. I think Etsy is really nice for inspiration, since it's like one of the greatest e-commerce websites it has products lying in all the categories, lifestyle, fashion, beauty, its all in one place and many of the things are homemade. I use Etsy specially because I can give D.I.Y's of the things that are there for so much money. Like the previous post. I had that all lying around and technically I didn't even spent a single penny on it.
Bloglovin': Bloglovin' is my love. I can taste what other bloggers are up to. Take away bits of inspirations from everything, season it with my creativity and serve it to you.
Independant Fashion Bloggers: IFB is a great spot for collecting some inspiration. I can see what other fashion bloggers are upto, I can see all that's happening out there in the fashion world so that I can express the same things with my point of view on my blog. IFB is not like over the top for me, I find Etsy and Pinterest more convenient because everything is in one place. But still it is a lovely spot to get inspiration, especially who are in the fashion sector because people are talking there about fashion all the time.
I talked about these websites because they make thinking about new ideas a little bit easier. Your blog is a great outlet to express yourself, be original, if everything will be cheated or copied, people might get bored. Be original and only that can lead you to a success. Hope you enjoyed, xo- Seemal.Follow my blog with Bloglovin
Supplies needed: A cloth of the size you prefer your bow to be, a pair of scissors, and sewing machine/needle and thread.
1. First off, get a cloth and cut it 1/4 bigger the size you want your bow to be. For me the ideal size of a necklace is 2" by 3". If you are making this size then you want 2.5" by 6.5" of cloth.
2. Fold the cloth in half to make the bow pillow we need.
3. Sow down the parallel sides either with a sewing machine or a needle. Leave a small opening to pull the chain through.
4-5. Turn the cloth inside out. Now Tuck in the part that you haven't sown yet.
6. Now sow down the tucked part with a needle. Don't sew the opening that we made.
7. Fold the pillow in half. So you'll get two flaps. Fold each flap in half. Hold the bow from the centre and wrap around a piece of cloth approximately an inch wide and secure it with needle and thread. The stitches should be somewhere underneath the bow, so when you wear the bow no one can see the stitches. Don't sew all the way through the centre, otherwise your chain wont pass through.
8. Cut off any excess threads that might be there for a neater look. I do keep it a little bit messy because I kind of like it.
9. Take your chain and put a bobby pin in one of the ends so it's easy to pull through the bow.
